Just a quick post to say that for various reasons I am having to sell my Rob Allen Aluminium 140 'Sparid'.
Although it is a great gun with some incredible accuracy at range, it simply is not a practical gun for me to have in my quiver right now.
So.. for sale..... (all together):
Rob Allen Aluminium 140 'Sparid'
set up with:
2 x 16mm bands (normally sold with one)
1 x 6.6mm Spear (tri-cut/notch)
1 x 7.5mm Spear (tri-cut/notch)
1 x Break -away rig
Price £170
All in all.. a great set up for serious big game in blue water or some long range sharp shooting.. just wish I could have got more use out of it.
I originally bought this gun for a trip to Indo.. ended up only using it for one day as I could not find a buddy to do the bluewater hunting with for the rest of the time. I never even got to fire it over there.. we blanked! Back here in the UK I have used it twice now and second dive nailed a bass a serious range which made me confident that its a good gun.. but.. it needs someone to get some proper use out of it otherwise it will just sit in my garage for the majority of its life. I do plan to do more bluewater hunts.. but within a few weeks I am to be a father so got to sell off a few things to help pay for baby gear!
