Hi. I´m new to spearfishing, and going to buy my first gun. Will use it in Oslofjord, quite often poor visibility (just a few meters in sommer, around 12 meters in winter). Will you recommend Rob Allen Caranx (90 cm) or Omer Cayman HF2 (90 cm)?

I like my rob allen spearguns. I would suggest going with it. Very strong gun and an all around workhorse.

You also have the option to upgrade the trigger mech later on with a Meandros reverse mechanism from spearamerica to get even more band pull. I have done it to one of my guns and LOVE it.

The HF2 will be lighter and have faster tracking.
for larger fish go the RA, for smaller fast fish go omer.
