hi guys
can anyone tell me the proper size shaft length for a beuchat 1mt mundial competition.ive just bent my ss shaft, gone to our only spearshop here in phuket they only have rockwell 1.3mt. i dont know but it seems very short, can i use this one or will i have to wait for new stock. Will it make much difference(higher, lower) i have one single 18mm band at pres.
thx

Dear Phuketdiver,

The proper shaft length for your Mundial 100cm or any other arbalete of that size is 140cm. Therefore, I advise you wait until the 140cm shafts are back in stock. With a 130cm shaft on a 100cm arbalete like the Mundial (closed head, screw-in bands) aiming will be awkward because you can't see the front of the shaft properly when you align the shaft with your target. If your arbalete had an open head and circular bands the 130cm shaft could be used instead of 140cm.

Cheers

thx ulysses
ive ordered the 1.4, then the shop owner told me 3 months (gutted) so i took the 1.3 for now until the new one arrives. i would order online but the postal service here is very hit and miss.thx for the input
