Hey guys, recently had an opportunity to get a 100 rollergun cheap. Just wondering what the power would be like compared to my 120 pathos open laser pro? Cheers

Also interrested in same question and comparison, powerwise, how useable and such issues with going the roller way.

That is quite a broad question as roller guns come in many different formats, some have two stage loading some have much longer bands than others, some have multiple bands etc...
Also there is more to just the power as most roller guns offer very smooth - almost recoil free shots but they might be time consuming and or difficult to load !
Most manufactures don’t quote performance figures and it can be differcult to fine anything other than personal opinions.
However it would be reasonable to assume a 100cm roller will have slightly more range than a single band 120cm

Well I use a dry barrel pneumatic gun but I have built quite a few roller guns.
A lot depends on what you want to shoot with it, most of my fishing is in shallow water with fairly small (2-5kg) fish.

Hi guys! I am interested in roller gun, too. I am wondering which RA Tuna roller gun length would be suitable for shallow water fishing in Greece/Med? I guess a 90 cm would have the abilities of a 110 cm 2banded railgun, huh?
And a general question about RA roller gun - foxfish said:
might be time consuming and or difficult to load
Do these disadvantages apply for the RA Tuna roller guns?
Greetings from Bulgaria!

Generally speaking, a single band roller gun is very simple to load. The main disadvantage with many 90cm roller guns will be muzzle heavy!

I don’t know, most rollers are made from heavy nylon and metallic but things change fast nowadays .

I built a 95 inverted roller, it only just holds it head up but the small rollers help tracking.
