I speared with a German guy in Mexico who had a 115 Pathos Sniper R roller. I used it a bit and absolutely loved it. It was unreal powerful.

My question is Are there any other roller guns that are as good or better?

What I am looking for is I think an 85cm or so for shooting freshwater fish in Canada that are 5 to 30 lb. And reef fish in Mexico that are 2 to 40 lb. If I go deep blue I will just rent a gun. I am looking at a Pathos Carbon or Sniper roller around 80 to 85 cm.

Is accuracy affected when you go to a short roller gun? I heard they inheritantly shoot low...

All you guys that own rollers please help me out.

Hey. I have a pathos roller 105cm and i am very dissapoined on this speargun.is very powerfull but the acuracy is bad...i think the head roller is the proablem.sorry for me bad english :)

I don’t agree. I have the same gun but 95. The accuracy is good, no problem there but it does shoots low. It is a problem inherent to rollers not particularly to this gun.

If you don’t like that you need to adjust for the drop then choose either a classic setup or an inverted roller who are less likely to have such issues if the gun is setup properly.
