Hi All,

This is my first post do hello to you all and wondering if anyone can give me some advice.

I am planning on travelling from Roscoff to Bilbao this summer with friends on a camping/spearfishing trip. The idea is to stop off at likely places, spearfish and meet good people.

Not having done any spearfishing in France before I have no idea where is good and where to avoid. We're planning on end of summer and will have around two weeks.

Do you know of any good spots/spots to avoid

I know we need a licence but is there anything else we should bring.

What kind of temp and vis can we expect.

Does anyone fancy meeting up and going for a paddle.

Thanks

Trevor

Hi Trevor and welcome. I'm afraid there are not many active forum members from that area lately (the French don't speak english...), but if geography tells us something, regarding fish and weather, I tkink it can't be so much different from Cornwall and/or Channel Island (and we have lots of forum members from those areas).
Maybe you might give a try in the cornish/guernsey sub-forums with better luck? (this forum is a labyrinth!!!)
