Hi,

I am the happy owner of a Cressi Cherokee Open 90. This gun is currently sold with one circular band 16mm. The very similar Cressi Cherokee Ocean 90 is sold with 2x 16mm circular bands.

So I was thinking to load my gun also with two bands.

On top of that I would like to test different configurations of the gun with one or two sets of rubbers. I am thinking buying bulk rubber (16 mm - 5/6) and then do some experimentation. I need your opinion with regards to the available rubber bands on the market.
I was thinking to try Hammerhead Red and Salvimar A-Boost Orange and maybe Rob Alen blue. What is your opinion with regards to these rubbers?

The gun has a standard barbed shaft Ø6,5 mm. And I also have a Rob Allen spear 7mm diameter

Thanks for your time.

The Salvimar green & orange is easily the best rubber I have ever used. It is progressive rather than reactive so the sudden recoil when the trigger is pulled isnt so noticeable, be aware that instant recoil doesnt give a true representation of the power being delivered to the spear on its travel from the gun. The salvimar can be stretched further than other rubbers so this may be the reason it shoots much better. I like salvimar the best then the US amber rubber (black coated amber as well) second. The rob allen is the second worst as it is very reactive & manny sub the worst (however Manny does openly advertise that it is reactive rubber & this may be best for some roller guns).
