so has anyone jogged or "ran on empty" literally. i think it is fun and feels good. i like to play tag( the kind where your running from someone or trying to catch someone) in all types of apnea from full to empty lungs. this thread will focus on "running on empty" lungs though. who else has done this or wants to say something?

I know a hard core spearfisherman who trained by running while holding his breath. I'll just pass on his recommendation- do it on the beach where the fall doesn't hurt so much when you pass out.

AIDA says if u want to do any apnae do it with trained buddy jogging or underwater however it is.

I have a 100 meter course marked out on my sidewalk...with nice, soft grass on either side....I do sprints (while holding) between the two end points...don't know if really it helps, but I believe that I drop to a pretty anaerobic state really quickly...that super-sluggish and heavy leg feeling...and I amuse people driving by.
