What are the do it and do it nots, when preparing to Bluewater about the float line entanglement. ¿Any tips?

I don't have a lot of experience with using a float line on really large fish, but I think the danger comes when you are pulling the fish back to the surface and might have float line and then steel cable shooting line all around you. You should try to keep swimming forward as you pull the fish up so that the line stays straight behind you.

Thank you Bill, as always you are a Prince, thank you for share that.

I apreciatte it

Is it common to have steel cable shooting line in blue water spearing? It seems risky to use a line that you can't easily cut if you get tangled up in it.

I agree that its very risky, but its also necessary if you want to shoot things like big tuna. Mono is not only much easier to cut, but when crimped it breaks at less than half of its rated strength.
