Ok, everybody.
What are you doing that week-end: 27-29 August?
I think I have nothing planed yet, which is a shame as it is 3 days long.
So maybe you would like to do a diving week-end :duh
Here are a few ideas:

1) Normal Saltfree week-end in Chepstow, but 3 days long
2) Freediving in Scotland somewhere (possibly spearing for the BBQ, as we would be camping) what about the midges?
3) Freediving still in Scotland, but at Scapa Flow, is it freedivable ?
4) Same as 2) but somewhere else: Whales, Cornwall
5) Freediving at Dorotea if Alun and his mates want of us
6) Same as 3) but on some other famous reeks.... which I have not heard of, yet
7) Pyjamas week-end, watching Titanic, the Big Blue.... Top Gun, and eating mach mallows... :girlie

Or we could do a mix of a few of those....
Any other ideas?

My preferred ones are 2) then 3) (if that's not too expensive) then 5) then 4) then 6) then 1) then 7)

Anyone interested?

hey ,i got a good a grest idea by mixing everything:

Freediving in Scotland , take some midget for bait, call alun and his mates if they want to come, go spearfishing in pyjama , using mashmallow to kill the fish, go back on camping site ( for survivor only), start bbq and enjoy to see those horroble movies as titanic and topgun dvd melt on .

does that sounds fun to you?? :thankyou

You can always come see me in Cyprus??? Its hot hot hot here!

sounds good guys - unfortunately I will be in Nice for the AIDA Worlds from the 29th onwards. Mark H and Laura will also be there and maybe a few other UK freedivers - not quite sure who yet.

Could do something the Saturday and Sunday but need to be back in Bristol to catch a plane to Nice Monday morning.

Last year I organised a trip to Cornwall around that time and although everyone thought it would be a great idea and asked me to do it - when it came around I had a nightmare getting people to actually pay and turn up - lost quite a bit of money on boat bookings not to mention the embarassment of messing around the dive centres I booked with (all good friends of mine) - so sorry, and thanks to those who DID turn up - but I won't be doing it again.... the same thing happened when I tried to organise a trip to Dahab this year...

West Coast of Scotland is FANTASTIC for diving, walking and I imagine, eating marshmallows and watching videos too. Excellent viz, beautiful dive sites and mostly quite sheltered from the weather due to all the lochs and inlets.

Sam

I noticed you did not burn the Big blue !!

It sounds like difficult to organise things Sam :hmm

This does not need much organisation. We can just take a car, go up the road and dive.

Let me know if someone is interested.

I think I am going to miss the 3 comming meets, so it would be nice to see some of you that week-end.

Would love to come Remi....but cos everyone else is on Holiday all our customers want maintenance done, the b*****ds.

Pond life it is..

Remi ... have the best time in Nice. Don't have too much Rosé before diving into that beautiful ocean or the sunfish might think you're one of them.
