I am currently working on a new page for the website listing the SaltFree records

If you think you might hold a SaltFree record for anything - serious, or not so, then please email it to me and I will put it up

Serious categories:
Men - CW with fins
Women - CW with fins
Men - CW no fins
Women - CW no fins
Men - FI
Women - FI
Men - CW newbies (didn't freedive 12 months ago)
Women - CW newbies (didn't freedive 12 months ago)

Not so serious
Dive in Bikini - that one's mine!
Bubble Rings
Deepest Tandem dive - I think that might be me and Franck....
Worst duck dive ever (please list people splashed)
go on, let me know, post here or email it....

to get your record up, you have to have been to SaltFree at least 3 times in 2006

OK now I really am working on this page.... the records need to have been set in the lake to qualify

Please can you let me know if you hold any of these! or if you know who does

These are what I witnessed......

Serious categories:
Men - CW with fins - Theo 62m???
Women - CW with fins - Liv/Anne-Marie joint 45m
Men - CW no fins - possibly Remi or Matthias but I'm not sure
Women - CW no fins - Liv but how deep?
Men - FI - Matthias or Mark???
Women - FI - Liv or AM????
Men - CW newbies (didn't freedive before summer 05 -
Women - CW newbies (didn't freedive before summer 05) - Mandy 32m

Not so serious
Dive in Bikini - me CW to 18m
Bubble Rings -
Deepest Tandem dive -
Worst duck dive ever (please list people splashed) - Lammy and most people.

Sam,

Bryn for the bubble rings!

I'll challenge anyone to a splash off if i don't have the worst duck dive!

Lammy

I reckon Jeff from the course last weekend gets the worst duckdive - Mr Crocs bore witness to it too. I reckon that it would have given that Killer Whale at SeaWorld a run or it's money at getting people wet!

I think Theo was 66m the other week CW+Fins.

Simon is right - Theo holds the deepest at 66m. Hot on his heels at 62m is the saltfree record for UK CW, held by some bloke who wears dodgy hoods at competitions and points at people. Same geezer did 52 metres in FI last October, but I don't know how that compares to Ocean Man's FI.

Deepest Kenyan :friday
1m when I jump in with my tech rig on rofl
any one care to callenge me?
I take the trophy, 'tiz mine!!

nationalities don't count..... we are all one happy saltfree nation...

so no prizes for kenyans, aussies, or indeed "UK records (just cos a yank is beating you!!!)

Dave Crocs is telling me he should win because his Stinger went to 71m.

oh yeah and there is also a record for fastest rope pull from 50m. Dave says you are all welcome to practise any time

Yeh, but Laura's Stinger's been to 108m.... :martial

Hmmm - perhaps there should be records for the veterans over 40....?

We could have another category for freedivers whose current PB's were set at saltfree meets. After all, for a lot of us it isn't so much competing aginst each other, it's competing against ourselves. Plus getting a PB at the NDAC is worth more than the gin-clear warm waters of the tropics. Just a thought.

Are you aware of the new ageism laws! We are no longer allowed to differentiate on age and if you ever call me a veteran again I'll come round and bash you with my Zimmer frame :)
BTW Anne-Marie has done 45m CWT and 49 FIM at Chepstow.

Regardless of age or nationality, how about deepest freedive in a drysuit?

I did 5m once and it hurt like hell...... not recommended...
