Hi Everyone :wave
I'm Tom
Being from Sydney (one of the best cities in the world) I've spent my entire life in or near the sea. I've always had great passion for water sports of all forms e.g. sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, a bit of surfing, etc... However it wasn't until recently that I qualified as an open water scuba diver and found an intrest in diving. Along with my friend Antoine, I have taken up freediving as a new obsession in the past couple of weeks.

While I have only been practicing dry static apnea I've been surprised at how quickly progression can be made with my pb already at 4'27" and surprised at how rewarding and even slightly addictive the pursuit of longer times can be. I am in this for the fun of it and never try to push myself too hard, in fact i have only ever experienced one contraction, generally I stop when discomfort sets in and it stops being rewarding.

I have only practiced on land but am eager to try my hand at proper freediving does anyone have any recomendations/tips or does anyone know any decent diving locations in and around the sydney area?
