I've been fly, lure and carp fishing for years, but in the summer a work colleague took me to Bournemouth and introduced me to spearfishing. This was an amazing experience and I loved it. He is not very experienced himself and has just started spearfishing.
I’m so glad to have found this forum. I’ve read through some of the threads in the forum and there’s so much useful information. I do understand there is a lot to learn and I will be spending time reading the various topics. I wonder if someone can help me to choose the right equipment: Wetsuit, fins, gun and the rest. I've prepared 300 pounds for everything. Hopefully this amount would be enough to by decent gear, as from past experience I know if you buy cheap you buy twice. Can you pls recommend a wetsuit, the choice is mind-boggling. I am 178cm tall 79 kg.

Thank you
