Just wondering if someone has any experience with this (sandwich technology neoprene?) suit in 7mm? Would they be still soft enough and stretchy in that kind of thickness?

Yeah they look great! No idea though as I have never come across these suits before!
Personally I use a MTM 5mm & find that very warm down to about 10c.

My MtM 5mm yamamoto open cell is pretty warm, but bit too stiff, Cressi 5mm very comfy & soft but not as warm. PoloSub are also pretty sexy looking MtM suits.
SubProf has loose Salvimar pieces for pretty tempting prices, I'm just after the jacket actually ... hmmm.

Thing is - Diveskin MTM 5mm suits are $189 & they deliver worldwide!

...and from $239 for 7mm on special order. For MtM not bad at all indeed. I don't need water to be extremely chilly to start getting cold when 5-6 hours in it with not much moving around and the difference in buoyancy between 5 & 7mm (jackets) is bugger all really. But I need it to be soft and comfy.

Let us know what you choose & how you get on then........

market overload makes s it hard to decide:girlie. Looks like I'll stick with a 2 sizes up 3mm shorty over 5mm Cressi this (aussie) winter, it is actually amazing how much warmth this adds without any additional buoyancy whatsoever, still allowing for heaps flexibility around limbs and head. Guessing the biggest advantage being blocking any water flow from under the jacket (despite the main wettie tight fit). Nevertheless, I'll keep my eye on this Salvimar
