Does anyone have experinece from building several guns and using the same mech for all of them by switching it to the gun of use for the moment?
I´m building a teak gun and I guess I will do more in the future. Instead of make the mech stuck to one gun witk epoxy glue, I´m thinking of make it possible to do a fast switch.
Comments?

I've never built any guns, but I have removed and replaced mechanisms in Wong, Riffe, and Alexander guns, and none of them were stuck in with epoxy. It was just a matter of removing machine screws. But you also have to remove the line release, and it would seem like a lot of trouble to be moving a mechanism back and forth between guns, particularly if you brought multiple guns on the same trip and then had to decide which one to put the mechanism in before getting into the water.
