samoa or solomons

hello,

i am in the lucky situation that i have the funds and the time to leave my european existence for a month and finally head out to my dream destinations in october.
now the solomon islands as well as samoa have always been on my top ten destinations. now i will have to choose.

i am not sure yet which destination would be better for some freediving.
both should have spectacular wildlife, but how is it with waves, accessibility and the like.
i really like shorediving ( especially for "sightseeing" ).

any tips, hints, suggestions welcome.
