I had a great time in San Diego this last weekend, thought I would share some pictures.
The underwater shots were taken at La Jolla Cove, CA and the lobster was taken near Point Loma, CA.

Calico and Garibaldi...

Thanks! Yep, the garibaldi's know they are protected!

Nice shots, and a nice place to dive! I didn't know it was leagal to collect lobster inside the cove?

Here's a couple of shots I took just around the corner, off of casa cove, the last time I was out there- and a quick kelp shot I took off of Pt. Loma.

the last two times I was out that way the cove was closed due to pollution. :rcard

You had much better viz than I did. Yeah, the cove gets polluted when there is rain.

do any of you know why the lifegaurds wont let you bring a float in the water even if there is no speargun on the line?

I don’t think that’s a rule there. They are messing with you. Most would want you to bring a float/dive flag so you don’t get run over. Although I don’t think boats are allowed there. Either way, that’s a bunch of crap and you should challenge that.

thats exactly what thought .it would have been a good idea if they knew where i would be, but o well.
