Hi all,

My name is Keith and I'm interested in finding a buddy to learn and improve my freediving technique. I'm also interested in applying those techiques to spearfishing and abalone diving.

I'm 39 and I've been a scuba instructor on/off for over 12 years and have a background in competitive swimming that I've recently restarted to improve my general physical fitness (it went to hell in a high-tech job).

Though the dive shop I'm affiliated with I do have access to a local high-school two nights a week for some workouts if people are interested. It has both a 50m pool as well as a 13ft diving well.

I figure with some formal training, and a few buddies, I can aspire to recovering only 10" abalone in my trips up the coast.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Keith

Sunnyvale? Heck, we're practically neighbors. Wait, I'll PM you.

It's a very small world.

I lived in Los Gatos for 10 years...and currently live in Sunnyvale myself!

I sent you a PM.

Thanks,
Keith
