sat trip to marquesas keys

we took a friends 23ft sea pro 35 miles out to coalbin rock then cosgrove shoal, then on to marqueses rock. vis was 60 to 80 ft, water was calm currents were light. depth was 20 to 35. freediving , killed 7 yellow jacks, totaling 42lbs,(sold em - which covered gas) and 10 fat hogs and five lobsters(we divided and ate those.)plus one cero mackeral. .what a GREAT day!

no it isnt, my buddy ,(whose boat we took) brother has a commercial fishing license, plus i got other "high friends in places" right about now a bunch of people are paying 28 dollars a plate to eat that fish. in one of the best seafood spots in town. It payed for the trip, for us anyway. 113 dollars in gas. and 8 $ in ice+ and we got 117 dollars back in fish$$

anytime you are ready bro. the weather has been windy all week and the vis has been suffering. last weekend was stellar, but since then, all wind. fantasy fest is next weekend, so you dont want to come then,(unless you want to fight the throngs of people.) but after that, pick a weekend. my buddy with the 23' sea pro is going to costa rica for the month of nov., otherwise we could do a long trip. have you ever been to rebecca shoal? supposedly the best spaering spot in the keys. about 15 miles west of marquesas keys.we could get my one buddies boat, but the gas will be expensive. i wish you could have been here last weekend. it was awesome!
