I was playing around with google maps the other day and came across some new enhanced coverage over Sri Lanka. It shows one of the advavancing waves on the south west coast. Not the first obviously as there is already flooding further north of the wave but what is amazing is the amount the sea has dropped ahead of it.

Just drag the map to Sri Lanka and zoom in on the south west corner and change the view to satelite. Everybody has probably already seen it but I thought it was worth a mention

Amazing view indeed! To get there faster: [ame="http://maps.google.com/?ll=6.572017,79.961457&spn=0.021359,0.029268&t=k&om=1"]Google Maps[/ame]
