At this point, most people have heard about how coral reefs worldwide are under threat. With living cover of reef-building corals in the Caribbean decreasing by at least 50% since the late 1970s, it's easy to feel depressed about the future of our oceans.

But it doesn't have to be all doom and gloom! Projects such as Reef Renewal Curacao are working to rebuild and restore corals so our grandchildren will also know a world with healthy reefs. This week for Ocean Pulse, I go coral crazy, highlighting the threats corals face and how we can save them.
