Science illustrated: the evolution of the red color at depth

The red color gradually disappears when you go deep.
Red and orange are the first colors to noticeably fade away when you go deeper than 6 meters/20 feet.
Longer wavelenght colors are the first filtered by water (noticeably from 6m), while the blue color is more persistent, and might persist to -200m depth in clear tropical conditions.
Notice the color change on the diver red gloves as he ascend.
