Scubapro Scout For Freediving

Hello Guys,
Even though i have always been active in snorkeling and scuba diving i have just started to free dive.
The mask i have used so far has been a scubapro scout which is advertised as a low volume mask.
I have searched these forums extensively to find out if my mask is suitable and good for the purpose of free diving but i have not found anything. I guess my question is, is there anyone who has experience with the scout free diving or spearfishing? Secondly should i consider purchasing a cressi superocchio or an omer alien?

The first step to find out which mask you should consider buying is trying to see if it fits your face. There's no point buying an expensive mask that is low volume only to discover that your nose does not fit or you feel pressure between your eyebrows.
Scubapro scout is a low volume mask for scuba, not for freediving. For freediving I would say it's a medium level mask. This doesn't mean your can't freedive or scuba. Especially since you've only started freediving you should first focus on your technique and then try to perfect your equipment. It's like you start freediving and ask for the best carbon fins (okay overstating here, the mask is important but at starting level I don't think you'll notice a difference).
Nevertheless, if you're interested in low level masks, maybe you should consider salvimar noah or technisub micromask. Take a look at this comparison as well to help you
