For those of you who have made large orders on Scubastore, did you get charged for the following?
If the amount of the products is higher than 200$: then you'll pay
4,2% over the total amount invoiced (transport charge + purchase charge) by
way of duties and customs papers to DHL upon arrival.

I've made one order that was over $200 & didn't get charged, but not sure if it was a lucky break, implicit costs, or I'll get charged next time.

Any insight?

I cannot be of that much help because my order was smaller and shipped to Canada but....

I had a 50$ order with ScubaStore and it was sent through DHL. I only received a bill to pay the duties (around 10$ I think) about 2 months after I received my order. Maybe you got lucky and won't get any fees, only time will tell.

Daniel
