Hi, thinking of buying the xfire 95 at some point soon.

Does anyone know of the best/cheapest site to buy from?

I have found it on subprof.com for about £100 with EU VAT. Any idea how much EU VAT is? Also, where is this site located? How much will postage cost from Spain, for example?

Thanks, Nick

Just add it to your cart and you will see the shipping cost and the full price. Subprof is in spain. Hope this helps

Nick your local Guernsey member Ed (Portinfer) often orders from subprof. He could tell you all about it. You could send him a PM. I think he is currently awaiting reciept of an order from them. Don't pay VAT either UK or European. Internet companies should send goods to Guernsey at zero rate. I order most of my stuff fromthe internet shop at scubaland in France. VERY cheap prices and cheap but a bit slow delivery. My Omer XXV was £35 cheaper from scubaland than subprof. You have to join scubaland which is free to do and then you get extra discount. Some locals have bought from Apnea in Jersey which has a good web site but you can also go see them for about £20 return day trip. My brother Martyn (foxfish) went recently as did Tom (Magpie), more PM's for details. Aparantly Apnea have a LOT of guns in stock and you can touchy/feely them all. Other locals have bought from the DB shop which has reasonable prices and super fast air delivery from their base in Spain. Lastly DB member Spearo Dave sells some quality guns including maori mambas from his south coast UK base. However he does not send VAT free to Guernsey so he might not be so compeditive for us. He knows his stuff though.

That should help a bit and make up for that sensible but boring advice I previously gave you.

Dave

Nick, in Subprof, when in your Cart, you can select United Kingdom (Channel Islands).

Then look at the cost estimate below and you'll see it removes the VAT automatically. I've had plenty from subprof, they're good, but shipping takes longer than the DB shop. The French shop also takes a while but as Dave says, the prices are good.

I've got a link to a place that does x-fires cheaper than that, but will have to wait till I'm at home later.

EDIT: Nope, scrap that, I've remembered it. Check your PM. This is the 2007 model too, which allows for double band use. IIRC the previous one didn't. Better warm up your Italian!

If you do order the Italian for UK is Regno Unito, took me a while to find that on their country list!

Oh, and thank Spagetti not me, he told me about it a while ago. :)
