Seal or Shark?

on the above link is a picture of a pollack on my fins. It has some healed grazes visible near the tail. Out of seven fish I shot over the two days, four of them had these scars. On one fish in particular the wounds still had congealed blood on them. Unfortunately I didn't think to photograph that one.
The marks look like the fish was grabbed and struggled free. Anyone know what they might be made by?
On the freshly marked fish the wounds looked like a row of cuts from claws or teeth.

I quite often see scars on pollack. Some are definitely net marks, but the bitey looking ones I tend to assume are from seals. I have watched seals eating fish, and they tend to be a bit lazy, often they will swim around with a fish in their mouth still alive for some time, or hold it in their flippers while they eat it. I would imagine a fair percentage of fish escape!
