Hi! I want to order some Seatec Gabbiano Snake from Italy, unfortunately my Italian is almost zero, and the guy I want to order equipment from almost does not speak English.

The thing is that I want to order standard 100cm aluminum version plus additional shorter barrel. They do not have aluminum barrels in stock, only carbon ones. But as far as I understand the inner diameter of aluminum version is 28mm, while the carbon one is smaller? Does this mean that I cannot interchange head and handle between Al and carbon tubes?

Is there some kind of adapter exists, which will allow me to do that? I found some detail called Riduzione per fusto which decreases the diameter from 28 to 26mm or from 28 to 25,6mm. Is this what I need to use for the carbon tube with my Al speargun setup?

Riduzione per fusto x 28mm : Tutto Pesca Mare

Could you also please give me the exact lengths of Seatec Snake barrels, I found different measurements: 75, 77, 82, 83. And a little bit confused, which ones are correct. I already have 70cm speargun and definitely does not want the 75 or 77 cm long barrel.

Thanks!

Please don't flood my PM box! :)

I'm not in possession of accurate measurements of length and wall thickness of the Snake tubes at the moment.

As for carbon vs. aluminum, bear in mind that they are both 28mm outer diameter: what changes is the inner diameter, due to different wall thickness.

This said, what I can do for you do is to forward your question about exact barrell length directly to Seatec, and let you know as soon as they respond.
I own a Gabbiano Trb 77 and a Snake 120, but never bothered to take lenght/thickness measurements.
Best thing is to ask Seatec and let you know so to have exact professional measurements. I'll do it for you. Give me time.

Thanks! But I am more concerned about handle and muzzle interchangeability between carbon and aluminum tubes, do you know anything about that?
