Haveing a time learning the ins and outs, rights and wrongs, I guess to start you just have to begin. I Have the desire, I have the guns, a little experiance diving, a lot more fishing. some experiance with my pole spear and bug diving, sending out a line to say .......... well good luck to all, for the real challange is not how big the fish is that you catch, but to keep fishing when you catch nothing, why ? Each new day and every catch may be our best. so keep fishing, and for gods sake, keep living.... smile. anyway hello to all that read this. I will be out at the islands weds. and thursday. First WSB with my sea sniper?

Hello John welcome on DB all the best for you in your fishing trip and in your life trip. dive and shoot safely...

wellll. no WSB around, Anacapa was 62-66 degrees, strong currents around most of the back of the island. Not to many boats going to Santa Cruz, but not suprising, since fish counts and all reports predicted not much activity this week. water was murky everywhere we jumped in. I took a calico home for supper , that was about it.
I have a question about my Reef Pro, the safety, when loaded, is tough to open/close completly. I was a little scetchy when placing it to safety when it only slid about 1/4 to 1/2 way. Is this normal. I think Chris is still in Baja, I guess I will try the # anyway.

Have many questions, and I will get to many in time. Tonight just a quick post.
Went to Anacapa, and Santa Cruz today, water temp at the arch 5 am. 70.5 f . Santa Cruz up to 72 f. varying visability, bla bla bla . Very Nice Day! Didn't see any WSB underwater, caught one on the drift. Shot baracuda with my reef pro 130, 15+ swiming in a pack of ten, Sea Sniper is worth every penny, I have now hit three out of three shots, and I barely know what I am doing, much props to Chris, who dropped it off to me on the way to Baja a month or so ago I know I chose the right gun , anyway a good day at CI looking forward to better #s
