Hi guys.

This is my first thread in the forum, I am a fin/monofin swimmer and I am extremely interested to freedive regularly, actually I am hoping to be a professional free-diver after one or two years. I have static apnea of 2:50 and dynamic apnea of 50 meters.

I live in North Carolina but I want to go to the beach (ocean not lake) in May, so I decided I will take my camping gears and my car and head to Florida in May (Water in NC is still cold in May) and camp on a beach for 4-6 days (adjustable) where I can easily access a free diving spot and hopefully get my first certified freediving course. So, I am looking for places in Florida with good beach camping site that has access to freediving spots and courses. Your suggestions and advice would be very helpful.

Thanks a lot all you freedivers out there !!

I have not taken a course (out of my price range) so I cannot recommend anything. All I would know to do is Google "freediving certification Florida" and start calling them in whatever area I wanted to go. There are quite a few mainly along the southeast coast.
