I started diving in the natural springs here in central Florida. I've been diving in these springs for a year now. I've reached 75ft, the farthest allowed before it's considers cave diving. So far I really like the sport and I wish to continue learning and practicing.

Welcome to DB.

Springs can be some of the nicest diving there is. Check out Troy, Blue Springs Deland, Ginnie, etc. For some wider description, Search for threads started by cdavis and Scott, Warm Springs, alligators, Florida diving weirdness, "You want to go diving Where???" etc. Dark and spooky but deep, Warm Mineral Springs, whenever it reopens. If you want to try that one, pm me.

There are a couple of threads on DB for Florida spring divers, look'em up.

Find a buddy through this site and never dive alone, for your own safety.

75 ft is already quite deep!

Welcome!
