Hello my name is Matthew, I am in the US Marines but i am currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan. I am still new to Freediving, but i have been getting better progressively faster. I started out by barely diving to 10ft. I just recently made a new personal record of 85ft and a static time of 4:31. I am constantly researching new ways to better dive. I plan on taking an AIDA certified class. Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to hold my breath longer? Thanks

You've come to the right place. Check out the Freediving subforum, or do a general forum search. You'll find oodles of information. That's not a bad static time, by the way. Welcome to Deeperblue.

Today I started my AIDA Training with Ryuzo, I'm doing well and u have two more days to go. I'm excited to be AIDA certified
