Hi everyone!
I just started to practise freediving couple of weeks ago and I have been intensively reading about freediving but I was unable to find answers to following questions.
I was wondering that sometimes when I have just started holding my breath I get a sensation of dizziness which disappears within next 20 seconds or so. Does anybody know what it might be? I think I am not hyperventilating. I breathe normally and then I take two deep and slow breaths and after third deep inhale I start holding my breath. Could it be caused by low CO2 levels or because of heart beat slowing down?
Then another thing I was not able to find answer was that is there "safe" depth that does not increase significantly the risk of shallow water blackout? Is it likely to occur if I dive to 10 meters and immediately return up. I can hold my breath in dry static usually about 2 minutes and my max. is little over 3 minutes.
I am not a native english speaker so forgive me about my grammar
