I had been diving this area for 15 odd years and only in the last 2 have i discovered that at early and late in the day, jewfish by the dozen nest up in 1 little groove. Nearly EVERY DAY !!!
Dont believe me? Nor did my dive buddy when i told him a month ago.
12 ft, white rock, steady current and 20 metres from shore in swell protected water.
5 am, heading down accross the sand to the reef, he still doesnt believe me.
We hit the water, not even 3 minutes into the dive, both of us have a 1.2m mulloway taking our shafts for a run!
4ft fish like this are average for this hole. You think im gonna tell?
If anyone can call the spot ill let them know, but until then.....
Only the 2 of us know of this hole as far as i know, now im blabbing it to the world! Hes gonna kill me!
If you pick it ill take you there myself. We limit our dives there to when our jewie supplies run out now.
Good luck! :head
