Shaping muzzle

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Funny question but besides a plane and sander and chisel what sort of other tools are used for shaping muzzles, and coves and stuff from hardwood? The sanders that I have are not small enough to get into these spots and they barley even take any material off.

rasps, routers, dremel stuff... then sand papers on wooden dowels and other... have fun
 
From 26 th may lidl will be selling dreamed type tools for £20 very handy for what you're doing. Surforms are good too.
 
I often think when I'm shaping wood with an angle grinder, butchery or artistry? It's a fine line!!
 
It's an old post. I've recently found a grinder with a flap disc used for steel works really well!
