Heh heh heh.... Australia's finest there.

Note the red morwong skittering past in the opening... god I miss Australia!!!

I love how he just keeps swimming as if nothing has happened at the end.

Looked like a little wobegong or carpet shark.... I saw one nearly six feet long insinuated into some coral up near Port Douglas. Very cool, very camouflaged.

I recall a story this summer about somebody near Sydney getting one attached to their leg and having it remain there throughout the trip inland to have it removed by a Dr..

Thanks Michael; it was indeed a difficult thing to watch, but we should all be mindful of what can happen out there.

Yep, looked like a wobbegong to me. That's what you're eating most of the time when you order fish and chips in Oz. Their fairly easygoing until you get in their personal space, then they're not very happy campers....

Lungfish - I read that story in the Sydney papers a couple of years ago. I think it was at Balmoral, near Mosman on the north shore. Little one grabbed a guy on the knee, didn't let go and eventually the doctor removed it.... after he had got all the way to hospital with the little buggar still attached. How's that for a killer instinct? rofl

Hiya

Blind Shark. They have a bony plate for crushing shellfish and a terminal grip!

Harmless unless you really annoy them.

Re: Immersion 1: You should see the Great White footage, especially the attack....
