is anyone going to be in Sharm in early August? does anyone need an extra buddy? i'm open to other locations too if anyone has any other suggestions - Greece, Crete, Cyprus? ideally i would like to dive somewhere with access to deep water close to shore - also i would like to do a few deeper dives along a line if anyone has access to one.

Very long time no hear!

I'm on the other side in el Quesier in August dude

not Menorca - i was thinking about Ibiza. there are some good diving locations there so it's definitely an option.

Pastor - what's the diving like in el Quesier? what depths can you find close to shore?

From a recreational point of view the diving is much better than sharm. Only a couple of hotels in the area and they are mad keen on conservation of the reef. In the cove the depth is say 20m on average but as you move out towards the cove edges it drops off to well over 30 - 40 m. You can get a good idea of the lace on google earth, it's about 50 miles south of Hurgharda but it is out on a limb nothing else to do that dive eat and drink
