well it seems, for once, im actually impressed with the way one of my photos have come out !! i do a bit of shell collecting, and i must say i was surprised with this one, its one of the first shells ive got from an octapus hole that wasnt all crushed up, i promised the shell to a friend, but i dont think she'd mind if i shared a photo of it, it makes for a pretty decent computer wallpaper :) (center dont stretch, size is a bit odd since i cropped it)

i do appologise for the somewhat lower than optimal quality, my digicam is about 3 years old, so ive been working at its limits a lot with the smaller stuff.

i like it...

although some of us might protest about you taking shells from the ocean :) it's abosolutely illegal here in the UAE, even if the shell is dead.

just replace it with a soda can... the hermits could make do with that. rofl

After all, if Andy Warhol can turn cans into art where you use shells, you should be able to turn cans into homes where the hermits use shells. I see no ecological problem with so even-handed an exchange! :rofl
