Hi All :)

I'm looking for warmer gloves, just wondering if anybody has tried the Cressi
Sub High Stretch 5mm Five Finger
If you know a really good glove for about $30-$40 please point me in the right direction, needs to be durable and warm, at least 5mm.

Thanks

If you need a 5mm glove or thicker... Your only real warmer choice is a 3-finger lobster glove or a no-finger mitt.

I have 6mm gloves and the fingers just freeze when the water is cold enough to need more than a 3mm glove.

The mitts are warm, but limited agility. 3-finger is a compromise.

I might be able to get by with a bit thinner gloves, I'm not sure if I could do what I need to in a 3 finger let alone a mitt.
The gloves I have now aren't very good, but they were cheap :) just had a look and they're 1.5 mm, the one I linked comes in a 3.5mm and they're unlined so they should be warm. I'll give them a try, the mean water temp here is a balmy 8.8C/48F so they oughta do.

Thanks

The Cressis are good (I have both the 3.5 and 5mm). For warmer gloves Lobster or mitten is the way to go. I also use merino lined 5mm gloves like the ones in this link when scubadiving and they are also good (mine are an older model)
