shortening rob allen rubbers

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.

Hi Guys

just a quick question. Ive had to shorten my rubbers and now need to tie a knot to keep the dyneema wish bone in the rubber but have no idea what knot to use.

Yes, constrictor knot is the way to go. Below is a link to a photo tutorial on how to tie the dyneema wishbone from the Rob Allen distributor to Portugal and Spain (captions are in Portuguese):

Constrictor is the way to go. Saw an Italian spear-gun builder on use an extra thumb knot around afterwards in an on-line video, perhaps to add bulk if you melt and smear the knot afterwards, as I do.
