I use a shockline that looks like a phone cord, a coiled c/spring deal. I love it , I don't have to bother with wrapping up the line or getting it wrapped in kelp. But it came with a chincy little key ring style attachment for where it connects to the slide on the spear shaft. I shot a ling in a hole and when I tried to pull it out , the connector broke. Luckily I managed to get the fish and my spear. I put another connector on, but after my last dive I noticed it was looking a little shot out too. I put a rivet on but I am still not really confident with that. I was just wondering if anybody else has had this problem or if anyone has any suggestions for a better way to rig it up.
Thanks, Kale

Disregard my previous post, I tied some haevy mono line to it and it works great. I shot a couple nice fish today, just thought I'd post it if anyone has a similar dillema in the future. Happy hunting!
