Silent surface hunting

this may appear to be a stupid question but could any one be willing to give give me a few pointers on how to stay silent on the surface as we are seeing bass just not getting close enough to shoot them , and it is really frustrating

Really concentrate on your fin strokes. Make sure they are very slow kicks and the fun is fully submerged to avoid splashing. If you are in shallow it is sometimes worth pulling yourself slowly through the weed etc

Slow in and out fin strokes instead of up and down... pattern mimics non-aggressive strokes of a turtle.
