I was just wondering if any of you guys give your bands any special treatment? I 've heard varying opinions. Some guys have told me to rub silicon on them other guys say this weakens them. I don't think I could be bothered to take them of after every hunt to put them in ziplocks but i'm not into laying out fifty bicks for new ones any sooner then needed. Ideas?

I just make sure I keep them out of the sun. an old sock with a hole in the toe works great to cover the bands while it's laying on the beach/boat. when i go away for a long time or put a gun away "for the season. I take the bands off and put them in a ziplock with unsented talk to keep them dry.
