I have come up with this simple version of theese "horribly"complex co2 tables that youre doing, and I was just wondering if it actually works. What I do is before i fall asleep every evening I lay in bed and then force exhale totally empty lungs no reverse packing though, and then hold my breath for 30 seconds then inhale full,no packing, hold for 30 seconds and then repeat. Can usually keep this up for ten, fifteen minutes before Im to dissy to count seconds.Any thoughts on possible simple improvements?

CO2 tables are very simple -- inhale, hold til big discomfort, exhale, inhale one breath only, hold til big discomfort, exhale, inhale once only, hold til big discomfort....

Just remember -- touch your chin to your chest during the apneas, otherwise you will get a terrible CO2 headache.

ok,I thought it was like hold two minutes breathe 30 seconds then hold 2and a half minute and relax for 20 second and so on...Just figured with empty lungs discomfort comes quicker and its abit like while beeing at depht?

With empty lung my guess is that you'll be training more low O2 than high CO2 - not sure about your 'mix' :)

Hi,

Though, low O2 can cause discomfort too, it's mainly the high CO2 that makes you struggle.
The low O2 is what finally makes you stop (or BO) when you are able to fight through the high CO2.

During recovery phases you reoxygenate faster than you get rid of the CO2 - so keeping the recovery phases short ( one breath) stacks up co2 faster than you burn your O2 ( at least thats the plan - or am i wrong eric ? )
