I'm new to this forum and have been doing Freediving as self development, non competitively, for 2 years.
I'm looking for someone or a group whom I can regularly freedive and train with, in Singapore or other countries. After all, Freediving with other practitioners is definitely safer.
I've been trying to find a regular buddy to train with, but no luck. Either there are no one interested, not comfortable with deep water, drop out of interest, or groups that want me to pay for their sessions if not I have to be a "certified Freediver" in order to join their sessions. So because of all these factors, I'm pretty much alone and left out. I love freediving, but its kind of sad that I currently have no one to freedive it and am not really able to practise freediving because of this.
I don't want to pay for lessons, courses, etc, I've been learning it for free from other freedivers. I am on a budget and only wish to do Freediving on the side for self development. So I really don't wish to pay thousands of dollars on courses and lessons. But at the same time, I really need a buddy to dive with for safety reasons.
If there's any other freedivers out there who is willing to dive with me or needs a buddy to regularly dive and train with, feel free to contact me
