Hey Billie, I do my cardio on an eliptical, too! At my age, I don't wanna wear out my joints. As for singing helping with freediving; I've been singing since I was 6, and grew up in musical theatre (where I learned to PROJECT my voice. I can sing VERY LOUDLY, and hold notes a VERY long time. They usually refer to my kind as "Belters"). During my first freediving course, I did an in-water static breath hold of 4:15. So, you tell me! The only downside to all of it is that a few decades of singing (and emulating Cyndi Lauper) have left me with a VERY strong diaphragm. So, when my contractions start, they REALLY suck! Sometimes I half expect my stomach to get pushed out of my mouth....
