Sinus surgery & free diving

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

I've had chronic sinusitis that has prevented me from underwater swimming for a long time. Doctors say that it can cause serious trouble with the inner or middle ear which cannot be repaired and which would lead to permanent vertigo and consequent difficulty in walking.

Does anyone have any information on sinus surgery having enabled people to free dive without problems?
 
Have you tried a few specialists? Diving doctors?
Where you checked for polyps?
