HI, anyone out there have any 'natural' remedies for sinus infections? I am on my 3rd lot of (different) anti-biotics from the Doc since Jan. I can't dive like this (

I have also been having loads of Olbas oil suff but still no help. This is driving me mad! Ggrrrr

Doc said I may need an op.... not a great prospect that. I know people who have had an op and made no difference at all

Help!

Cheers.
Clive....

Clive,

I was plagued by sinus trouble myself (on antibiotics 3-4 times in a year). My buddy who had been prescribing the antibiotics for me finally said enough's enough and told me to go see a specialist. It turned out I had a mechanical problem (orbital blow-out fracture) that was blocking the entrance to my left frontal sinus cavity. I had surgery and have never had a problem since. I highly recommend you going to an ENT and getting a CT scan done. It's like an MRI for your head and it will tell you right away if you have any kind of physical block (deviated septum, blow-out fracture, etc.). Another possibility is that you might have allergies which can also be easily treated.

Hi Scott, thanks for that, I will speak to my Doc.

I have also found some saline stuff that I might try as well.
(I also get hey fever, but not this time of year)

cheers.
