I just wondered if anyone of you has noticed this:

After a hard diving session with lots of time spent in "DR-mode" i find myself waking up in the middle of the night feeling well rested. This continues throughout the night. I tend to wake up several times thinking it is morning. Even the day after i feel lika i have had a good nights sleep even though i have been waking up constantly.

Have anyone of you noticed this, and if so:
What do you think is the reason?

I have a theory that it might have to do with the blood supply to the brain. After serious dillation of the vessels in the brain the effect remains and the blood supply is enhanced compared to normal. This might be crazy and it might just have to do with just general exersize.

I know this has been discussed before, and I think that many people seem to do involuntary apnea while sleeping, and therefore waking up.. Dont know if this is the case with you, or me.. But I experience the same after a hard session.

Man there is nothing like a good snooze after a Dive, especially in the sun on the back deck on the way home.

Pitty when you get home you have to wash the Boat, wash the dive gear, clean & fillet the fish.

Then the wife wants a shag that night ( in my dreams )
( well not the wife in my dreams )

Crusty

Sounds good. I will get you a teddy bear in return.

Perhaps involontary sleep apnea is the case for waking up, but why do you think i tend to feel so refreshed?

i do agree, i get way more sleep, and feel way refreshed. as for the sex... lets just say my girlfriend's eyes light up when i tell her im going to train for freediving (i think it opens up veins in more places than just your head!) :t
