The reports are coming from everywhere from Dorados, Yellowtail, White Sea Bass, Halibut, and all other sort of fish being caught at your favorite
spots right off the beach as well as the local Islands.

Water Temperature ranging from the Low 70 F. to high 79 F. Water INCREDIBLE.
So far we being bless with good Visibility most of the days and thank God no too much red tide like previous years.

I believe this year we are going to have a FANTASTIC Scramble Meet, I
personally spoke to several divers from all over the California state that will be coming to compete right along us, experienced, season and well trained divers.

So guys get your equipment ready, get ready with your strategy, whatever you are going to be diving from the beach, from a kayak or from a boat.

REMENBER YOU CAN DIVE ANYWHERE IN CALIFORNIA WATERS!!!
YOU ARE ALLOW TO USE ANY Type of transportation device, SPEED BOAT, Kayak, helicopter, Hoovercraft!, etc

Remember to be watching your time and especially your traveling time getting back to the weigh in before 3:00 pm.

Our local fellow clubs the San Diego Freedivers, Neptunes, NorcalDivers and all sort of Individual have been advised and is going to be one of our biggest Scramble Meet events ever!!!

Some things to remember:

NO WASTING OF FISH, what ever fish you bring to the weigh in, make sure you have a cooler with ICE to take home, there is going to be a lot of spectators including the DFG, we don' t need any bad publicity to our sport, I am sure your family can appreciate some nice fish steaks and sashimi.
We will have a bigcooler that will take fish donations for a Charity.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU MEASURE YOUR FISH, MARK YOUR SPEARGUNS at 12', 14', 18', 22' 28' the most common sizes for the species that we will be targeting.

Have a plan for the Scramble, go where you know the fish are and where you may have the highest concentration of game fish. Scout if you can and most important BE SAFE.

We want to have a good time, please be a safe diver and don't push your
limits. IMPORTANT!!!!! I sure don't want to be calling your LOVE ONES to
give them the bad news.

MANDATORY FOR ANYONE COMPETING TO SIGN THE WAIVER. You will be DQ if you don't sign a waiver, is also a way for us keep accountability of divers in the water.

For the boats competing we plan to be on CHANNEL 71, to communicate with each other.

PLEASE do not embarrassed yourself and STAY AWAY from any MPA Marine Protected Areas, in our Local waters and in the outer Islands, don't get busted, DFG is enforcing the No Take Zone in the MPA's in Catalina, Santa Barbara, Anacapa, Santa Cruz and all Channel Islands, MPAS. They will take you to jail, impound your gear, boat and you will be in the front page news.

MORE RAFFLE PRICES ARE COMING IN GUYS!!!!!!!
