¡En hora buena Polo!

Nice clear waters, and warm to boot, I bet.

both the vid and the pic were taken in the island of la tortuga here in Venezuela, the water had bad vis on top but once you passed the 5 meters it would clear up a lot, it was VERY warm though.

I wear a 3 mm wetsuit and maximum 2 pounds of lead, I like to keep myself buoyant in order to make ascent easier, lead for me is not a problem because when I reach 25 meters I am already negative with that weight configuration

My dad Spearfishes and got some prey after I did my dives, he got a couple of large snappers and a couple of regular sized Picuas (Barracudas), I don't spear a lot but la tortuga is Cuda heaven, north of horseshoe cay there are some 5 meter shallows in which I went with my dad and descended FRC, as soon as I hit the bottom 3 cudas came checking me out... they're that curious :duh

Congrats Polorutz
Nice technique,nice visibility,nice footage..

Got to come and check that out!!!... :wave

just curious, do you have AIM?

apnea revolution is my sn, i am new to apnea and i need someone to talk to about this kind of stuff mainly because i dont have any friends who dive

Im' downloading AIM now, my SN will be Polorutz...

on other notes, last weekend went freediving again, started doing statics with a friend, first set went up to 4:15 then I went for a max, my previous max was 4:32, I went wayyyy past that into 5:15s clean exit!!

so there I was thinking nothing better could happen but then I get in the water... sea is incredibly choppy and I almost threw up what little I had to eat in the morning (practically nothing, half a yogurt and a lot of gatorade) but I managed to focus and did my training FRC dives and then went for a big one, now I wasn't expecting to do a max (prev 35m) but at 30m I gave one last kick and just enjoyed my fall down the bottom, I don't really know how much time I fell but my suunto marked 39m when I came up!! (I never ever look at the gauge when im down there) so overall it was a great day, Im' just short of 40 meters which has become my goal to reach before this years end and I made 2 PBs in 1 day!!
